Audios and Amazing People
Posted on 22. Aug, 2010 by charles in Entertainment, People, Places
On my recent international tour, I noticed people in each city and town walking around as if they were holding their ear. No, they were not in pain. The mobile phone has become a craze. No doubt some people were talking about business. Young people were chatting with friends. My colleague was on the phone helping me locate my lost computer.
Other people were using the phones to find the location for their next meeting. Some people were playing games on the phone, or gaining information from sites like Google. There is no doubt an audio revolution taking place.
It made me realize that if amazing people, like Abraham Lincoln and Marie Curie, were to return they would have been able to do so much more with a mobile phone. After all, they achieved great things in a age when audio devices were only in the early stages of development.
Therefore, I thought why not interview these and other amazing people and make the audio recordings available via the mobile phone. We have now done that and you can download the recordings to your iPods and iPhones see Amazing People Club.
I hope that you find the stories informative and entertaining as you listen, whether it be on a train, in park or driving.
Best wishes.

Charles, I believe that the educational aspect of what you write is highly underestimated. ‘Education’, ‘history’, can be scary words to the student, so it is important to engage them in the learning process and this is what your stories do!! These books should be in schools everywhere, if they were, I truly believe that people would gain a unique insight into people and places in a very entertaining way. Keep up the good work, Thanks LizzieMc
