Who are the most amazing people that have been born in your country? How are they recognized and honoured? Those are questions that interest me on my travels. It is interesting to walk the streets that Charles Dickens wrote about in London and to wander through Montmartre where Edith Piaf sang in the streets, or to visit Gettysburg in the USA and see the place where President Lincoln made one of this great speeches. You can join me on a journey and share stories of amazing people you have met on your travels.

This is a picture of the city of Brisbane, Queensland Australia, near where I live. If I fly to the USA from Brisbane, I can leave on a Monday and arrive on a Sunday. It may not seem logical, but it is possible. In effect, by flying through the air I am also flying through [...]

Afterwards, I wrote up what I thought he would have said to me about his life. That is what I mean by travelling [...]

America celebrates Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King, Amelia Earhart and many others who have contributed to building the nation. They have monuments and memorabilia named after them. So, why has Anne Burras been ignored? She is one of the most important women in American history. At the age of 14, she arrived in Jamestown in [...]
