No Computers

What is life like without a computer? Last week I found out when my computer crashed. The technician arrived and said the computer would need hospital treatment. After five days without my computer I was feeling left out and left behind. My inward communications ceased.
Suddenly the phone and the fax were being used. So, maybe I did not need a computer with a new iphone? But, I was so used to my desktop, I had difficulty adjusting.
So what would your life be like without a computer and a mobile phone. Well it is only 25 years since we have had these amazing pieces of technology. Indeed, I remember it well – the era of the hand written letters, the post and typewriter. Even that was advanced compared to the days of Shakespeare and Mozart.
So, I continue to marvel at how amazing people succeeded in times gone by. I have published a book called Amazing Careers - useful to see how the greats worked without computers.
